In 1996 began the construction of a unique entertainment complex on the site of Hedva, an abandoned and dilapidated textile factory. We had over 30,000 m² of space and amazing ideas in our heads. Two years later, in 1998, a shopping village was completed, soon followed by a disco, a restaurant and Lunapark with funfair attractions.
Another two years and some refurbishing work later Aquapark welcomed its first visitors. To give them a chance to stay overnight to enjoy as much fun as possible we built for them a four-star WELLNESS HOTEL BABYLON, with direct entry to the entertainment section. Along with fun came a place for relaxation – since 2007 CENTRUM BABYLON has boasted its own Wellness Centre. After that we opened iQPARK, still much loved by visitors today for its unparalleled exhibits, quizzes, riddles and experiments they can have a go at themselves.
In order to cater for corporate clients as well we constructed a congress centre with a capacity of 1,000 people.
Nowadays, no-one can complain about a shortage of fun at CENTRUM BABYLON as our portfolio now features also 4D CINEMA, Laser Shot, Bowling, Laser Game, Magic Box and Funpark, and we are the first place of our kind in the country to have started a Laser Show projection accompanied by epic music right on-site in Aquapark.
